Slide the green lock lever to the

left ( ), and then remove the pa-

per feed roller ( ).

The illustration shows an example

of the paper feed roller as installed

in the printer.

While sliding the green lock lever

to the left ( ), set the new roller

( ). Then, return the green lock

lever to its original position ( ).

❒ Confirm that the green lock le-

ver is securing the roller correct-

ly by checking that the new

roller rotates smoothly.

If the printer is equipped with the

optional paper feed unit(s), fol-

low the same procedure to replace

its paper feed roller.

If you have installed two paper

feed units, replace both their paper

feed rollers.

Place paper in the paper trays and

additional removed paper trays.

Lift the front of the tray, and then

slide it carefully into the printer

until it stops.

Replacing the Transfer Roller

While holding the front cover with

hands on both sides, press the re-

lease button to open it.
