Using a Memory Box (Memory Box)
Set the scanning mode.
You can set the following modes when you scan originals into a memory box:
- Resolution/Density/Image Quality (See 'Setting the Resolution, Density, and Image Quality
to Match the Original,' on p. 2-9.)
- Document Size (See 'Specifying the Scanning Size of the Original (Document Size),' on p.
3-19.)
- Two-sided Scanning (See 'Sending Two-sided Originals on Two Pages (2
3-18.)
- Zoom TX (See 'Sending Reduced or Enlarged Documents (Zoom TX),' on p. 3-25.)
Press
(Start).
The machine starts scanning the first original.
Press
(Start) every time you place a scanning original on the platen glass. When the last
original has been scanned, press "Done."
The first document is scanned and read to the selected memory box, and the data is
automatically sent according to the settings of the memory box.
NOTE
To cancel scanning, press "Cancel" on the touch panel display, or press
control panel.
Press "Done."
Press "Done" repeatedly until the Fax Basic Features screen appears.
