Clear media jam in the media feed section of the printer
Introduction
If a media jam occurs, a message appears on the operator panel. In that case
check if
The roll is installed correctly and the media is fed as indicated.
The correct media is used ((see 'Available media types' on page 305) and
(see 'Available media sizes' on page 307)).
No pieces of media block the paper path.
Clear a media jam in the media feed section
Turn off the printer.
1.
Open the correct roll compartment.
2.
You must open one (1) compartment at a time.
Note:
Lower the feed table, use the two locks on the front below the feed table.
3.
Remove the jammed media.
4.
Close the feed table.
5.
Close the roll compartment.
6.
Turn on the printer.
7.
If you can not clear the media jam by opening the feed table, then open
