4.3

Initial System Power Up

Apply power to the MX8000 by plugging in the AC power cable. (See Figure 3–3.) When the MX8000 powers
up, the display will go through the routine shown in Figure 4–4.

initialization
is complete
The system defaults in the manual operation. To select automatic operation see Section 5.4.1.1.
Note: Any time the power is removed from the receiver (line and battery), the time and date will have to be
reprogrammed on power-up.
