Power/Ground Connectors

3.5.1 AC Power Connector

3.5.2 Ground Connector (GND)

A #10-32 stud on the rear panel of the modem is used for connecting a common
chassis ground among all equipment.
Note: The AC power connector provides the safety ground.
A standard, detachable, non-locking, 3-prong power cord (IEC plug) supplies the
Alternating Current (AC) power to the modem. Observe the following:

100 to 240V AC 50/60Hz auto-ranging (unit
switches ranges automatically)

Line and neutral fusing.
For 115 and 230 volt AC operation, use T2.00A
20mm fuses.
Note: For 48 VDC operation, use T6.25A,
6.3x32mm fuses.
