Auto-tuning Fault

Auto-tuning faults are shown below. When the following faults are detected, the fault is displayed on the digi-
tal operator and the motor coasts to stop. No fault or alarm outputs will be operated.

Table 7.4 Auto-tuning Faults
Meaning
There is an fault in the data input
for autotuning.
There is an fault in the relation-
ship between the motor output
and the motor rated current.
There is an fault between the no-
load current setting and the input
motor rated current (when auto-
tuning for line-to-line resistance
is performed for vector control)
An alarm is detected during auto-
tuning.
The STOP key was pressed to
cancel autotuning.
Autotuning was not completed in
the specified time.
The auto-tuning result is outside
the parameter setting range.
The motor did not accelerate in
the specified time
(C1-01 + 10 sec)
The torque reference exceeded
100% during acceleration.
Detected when A1-02 = 2 or 3
(Vector control).
The current exceeded the motor
rated current.
Any of U/T1, V/T2 and W/T3 has
open-phase
Probable causes
Check the input data.
Check the Inverter and motor
capacity.
Check the motor rated current
and no-load current.
Check the input data.
Check wiring and the
machine.
Check the load.
• Check the input data.
• Check motor wiring.
• If the motor is connected to
the machine, disconnect it.
• If the setting of T1-03 is
higher than the Inverter
input power supply voltage
(E1-01), change the input
data.
• Increase C1-01 (Accelera-
tion Time 1).
• Increase L7-01 and L7-02
(Torque Limits) if they are
low.
• If the motor is connected to
the machine, disconnect it.
• If the motor is connected to
the machine, disconnect it.
• Increase C1-01 (Accelera-
tion Time 1).
• Check the input data (partic-
ularly the number of PG
pulses and the number of
motor poles).
Check wiring of the Inverter
and the mounting.
