Description
Choose Yes to invoke the settings for this WAN interface.
Choose No to disable the settings for this WAN interface.
Type the description for such WAN interface.
Display the physical mode of such WAN interface.
You can change the physical type for WAN2 or choose Auto
negotiation for determined by the system.
If your choose According to Line Speed as the Load
Balance Mode, please type the line speed for downloading
and uploading for such WAN interface. The unit is kbps. The
default setting for down link and up link is 10000Kbps.
Enable – Enable the function of VLAN with tag.
The router will add specific VLAN number to all packets on
the WAN while sending them out.
Disable – Disable the function of VLAN with tag.
Tag value – Type the value as the VLAN ID number. The
range is form 0 to 4095.
Priority – Type the number for such VLAN. The range is
from 0 to 7.
Check the box to enable this function. When the network
connection is off, the system will send a mail alert to notify
the administrator.
Determine the WAN interface will be active for always
(Always On) or be treated as a backup WAN interface
(Backup).
Backup Type - Determine the role of such WAN interface. It
will be changed according to the Active Mode specified.
If you choose Always On as Active Mode, such interface
will be used for access into Internet all the time.
If you choose Backup as the Active Mode, you have to
specify which WAN interface will be selected to backup
multiple WANs. However, ignore this setting if you want to
backup a single WAN.
