Configuring the base station
Section Active Announcement: Sunday
– Select the Active announcement to be activated for Sundays.
The options are Announcement 1, Announcement 2, Announcem. only or
AM off.
With the As for to Mon -Fri option, the settings in Active Announcement: Mo -
Fr also apply for Sundays.
The standard message has been preset in up to three language variants
for the country in which your base station is sold. With the phrase down-
load tool you can select a different language variant if you need one. You
will find a more detailed description of the phrase download tool in Chap-
ter "Replacing the answering machine pre-recorded announcements" on
i
page 27.
You can of course record your own message using a comfort telephone or
handset. Further information is available in the telephone's operating
instructions.

Click Apply.
The new settings are sent to the base station.
The answering machine is available and switched on as per the settings in the Time
control tab. You can switch the answering machine off from a handset.
If you want to configure several answering machines, you can select the

device list rows without clicking Apply. Your changes remain unaffected
while switching between devices.
