Configuring the base station

Configuring short message service (SMS)

Double-click Configuration in Folder list.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Dial settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the SMS tab.
ì
Select an authorisation for text messages. The default setting is SMS send and
receive.
– Activate the SMS receive only option, if you do not want your base station to be
able to send any text messages.
The base station will only receive text messages. There is no need to configure
the send centres.

– Activate the SMS send and receive option, if you want to send text messages
with your base station.
– Enter the telephone number of an SMS service centre in the Service centre field.
In the factory setting, there are default SMS service centres that you can use or
change. You can enter up to 10 telephone numbers with up to 32 digits.
– Activate the service centre option for one of the telephone numbers you have
entered as the service centre.
Your base station sends all the text messages to the active send centre.

Click Apply.
The new settings will be sent to the base station.
