Changing the system PIN

Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Base settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Security tab.
ì
Click Change PIN.
This opens the PIN tab.
ì
Enter the old base station PIN in the Old PIN field.
The factory setting is 0000.
ì
Enter a new sequence in the New PIN field. The PIN can be from 1 to 8 digits long.
ì
Repeat the new PIN in the PIN confirmation field.
ì
Confirm your entry with OK.
This closes the PIN dialogue. The new PIN will be sent to the base station.
Resetting the system PIN
To permanently deactivate PIN protection, reset the system PIN to the fac-
i
tory setting 0000.
ì
To do this, enter 0000 in the Change PIN dialogue as New PIN and
confirm it by entering it again.
