Changing the answering machine PIN
The answering machine PIN provides protection against unauthorised remote oper-
ation of the answering machine.
Change the answering machine PIN from the factory setting 0000 to a value other
than 0000. The PIN can be between 1 – 8 digits long.
Resetting the answering machine PIN
To permanently deactivate PIN protection, reset the answering machine

PIN to the factory setting 0000.

To do this, enter 0000 in the Change PIN dialog as New PIN and con-
firm it by entering it again.
