Configuring preferred redirection location

A call can be redirected in your base station or on the network.
ì
Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Base settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Assignments tab.
ì
Define the Preferred redirection location:
– Click In the base, if you want the base station to redirect the call.
The second B-channel of the ISDN line will be used for redirecting calls.
ì
The base station can only redirect the call if the second B-channel is
i
free. If this is not the case, then the caller will hear the busy tone.
or
– Click In the network, if you want the call to be redirected on the network.
The base station then sends the destination telephone numbers for each call for-
ward to your network provider. This will leave both B-channels of your ISDN line
free when a call is forwarded. You can activate several call forward numbers at
the same time.
ì
Click Apply.
The new settings will be sent to the base station.
