Configuring preferred holding for enquiry calls
An enquiry call can be made in your base station or on the network.
ì
Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Base settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the Assignments tab.
ì
Define the Preferred holding for enquiry calls:
– Click In the base, if you want the base station to hold the external call.
The second B-channel of the ISDN line will be used for the second external call
(enquiry call).
ì
The base station can only make the second external call (enquiry call)

if the second B-channel is free. If this is not the case, no enquiry call
can be made.
or
– Click In the network, if you want the external call is to be held on your network
provider's network.
The base station returns the first external call to the network provider. The con-
nection is held there. The second external call (enquiry call) is made using the
same B-channel. The second B-channel is left free.

Click Apply.
The new settings will be sent to the base station.
