Using the room monitor function

Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click Dial settings.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.
ì
Open the External room monitor tab.
ì
You can enter an external telephone number with up to 32 digits in the External
dest. call no. section.
ì
Click Apply.
The new settings will be sent to the base station.
How to activate the handset's room monitor function:
ì
Enter internal number 99 as the handset destination number for the
room monitor call.
ì
Switch the handset room monitor function on.
When the room monitor alarm is triggered, the handset opens a con-
i
nection to the external destination number.
In Gigaset Series 4000 handsets, you can enter the external destination
number directly as the alarm number for the room monitor.
