Setting the Phone Type

Use this function to set the machine to PSTN or PBX. In PBX, line dial
numbers (prefix no.) or flash line access are possible.
1 Press [UTILITY].
2 Press the [MAINT.] tab and
[ADMINIST.].
❍ If necessary, enter the
administrator number.
3 Press [INITIAL SETTING] in the
administrator management
display.
4 Press the [LINE] tab and
[PSTN/EXT LINE SWITCH].
5 Select the required setting.
❍ When you have chosen PBX,
the prefix is requested in the
following display.
6 Press [ENTER] until the standard display appears.
