Replacing the Toner Cartridge

A new toner cartridge is designed to print approx. 8300 pages of the ITU-
T Test Document 1 (3.6 % black density). The toner cartridge included
prints approx. 4100 pages of the ITU-T Test Document 1 (3.6 % black
density). When a toner cartridge is needed, the message "TONER
EMPTY" appears in the display.
Remove the toner cartridge from the machine, shake it well and reinstall
it. If the "Toner Low" message appears again, follow the procedure
described below.
Open the cover of the

toner cartridge.
2 Remove the new toner cartridge
from its packaging. Hold the
cartridge in both hands and
shake it four to five times.
3 Carefully remove the seal.
Ensure that the toner opening is
pointing upwards.
