Using the Utility Mode
Original Ö Copy Default
Specify the original Ö copy type automatically selected when power is
turned ON or panel reset.

With Duplex Unit:
The initial setting is 1-Sided Ö 2-Sided.
l
Without Duplex Unit:
The initial setting is 1-Sided Ö 1-Sided.
Consult your Technical Representaive if you want to change the setting to
1-Sided Ö 1-Sided with the Duplex Unit.
Auto Paper/Auto Size
Specify the default mode selected automatically when power is turned ON
or panel reset, either "Auto Paper," "Auto Size." or "Manual."
The initial setting is "Auto Paper."

Tray Priority

Specify the default paper source that is automatically selected.
The initial setting is "1" (1st Drawer).

Special Paper

Designate the drawer for kinds of paper.
The initial setting is "Normal" for all drawers.
Special Paper Setting, see page 3-7.
(Special Paper can only be used for the 1st Drawer and Manual Bypass
Tray.)

2in1, 4in1, Booklet Copy Zoom

Select whether to enable ("ON") or disable ("OFF") recalling a default
zoom ratio for 2in1, Booklet Creation, or 4in1 copying and 2in1
Separation.
Default zoom ratios:

2in1: 0.707
l
Booklet Creation: 0.707
l
4in1: 0.500
l
2in1 Separation: 1.414
The initial setting is "ON."
