Making Copies

Select the appropriate mode
according to your particular needs.
NOTE
Ð
Use Manual Exposure when making copies in the Photo Mode.

Select the exposure level.
(Auto Exposure)
The copier automatically adjusts the exposure level for the optimum
copy image density.
Ð
Touch [Auto].
The [Auto] key is highlighted,
indicating that the copier is set
into the Auto Exposure mode.
NOTE
Ð
If Auto Exposure is set when making copies in Photo Mode, the copier
automatically switches the mode to Text Mode.
Useful Tips
The exposure level in the Auto Exposure mode can be made either
"Darker" or "Lighter" by using User's Choice, see page 4-7.
The copier has been factory-set to automatically select the Auto
Exposure mode. User's Choice can be used to change this default
setting to the Manual Exposure mode, see page 4-7.
