Available memory
The built-in memory can store designs, fonts, stitches and
other les. To check how much memory is still available
in the built-in memory, go into File Manager, touch Quick
Help and then touch either My Files, My Fonts or My
Designs. A pop-up message shows how much memory is
available.
Your machine can load the following le formats:
•
.SHV, .DHV, .VP3, .VIP, .HUS, .PEC, .PES, .PCS,
.XXX, .SEW, .JEF, .EXP, .10* and .DST (embroidery
les)
•
.SH7 (stitch les),
•
.VF3 (embroidery font les)
•
.WAV (sound les)
•
and also .TXT and .HTM/HTML- les.
Browse File Manager
To open File Manager, touch the File Manager icon on the
extended toolbar.
Within the built-in memory there are three folders: My
Files, My Fonts and My Designs. You can also explore
external devices connected to the USB ports. The external
device folder icon is only available when a device is
connected to the machine.
Touch any of these icons to display their contents in the
selection area. The path of the open folder is written in the
drop down menu. Design les, embroidery font les and
stitch font les are displayed as thumbnail images or with
an icon.
List View
Touch the List View icon to show the les in the current
folder listed in alphabetical order. For each le, le name
and type will be displayed. Touch the List View icon again
to switch back to thumbnail/icon view.
My Files
Load My Files with designs, fonts, your customized designs,
stitch programs, text les or any le that you want to store.
This chapter will discuss how to arrange My Files so that
you can nd your favorites easily.
My Fonts
Store embroidery font les and stitch font les in My Fonts.
You can reach the fonts from the Extended toolbar and the
My Fonts in File Manager. You cannot create folders in the
My Fonts folder.
Note: The embroidery fonts stored in the machine upon delivery are
also included on the DESIGNER DIAMOND™ Sampler CD,
so you can reinstall all embroidery fonts even if you remove them from
the sewing machine memory.
