M16A.SYS
There are user-configurable parameters to the M16A.SYS driver
which can be modified using the Network Control Panel built into
Windows NT. This applet uses the OEMSETNT.INF file to set the
corresponding parameters in the registry. The user-configurable
parameters are as follows:
Parameter
I/O PORT
MEMORY ADDRESS 0XD4000
INTERRUPT
MODE
CABLE TYPE
LINE SPEED
EARLY TRANSMIT ENABLED
LINK INTEGRITY ENABLED
FULL DUPLEX
The network node address can be modified by manually editing the
registry and adding the parameter 'NetworkAddress' with a
hexadecimal string value, such as '00A0C9112233'. If the user does
NOT specify a 'NetworkAddress' then the M16A.SYS driver uses the
network node address contained in the PRO/100 PC Card Card
Information Structure.
