Appendix D. Finisher Adjustments; Test Print - Ricoh DDP 184 User Manual

Adjust the stapling and folding position if the folding unit is connected to the Finisher.

Test Print

1. Power on the Printer.
2. Set the paper in the desired Hopper.
3. Execute Test Print.
a. Select Printer Menu on the Main Menu screen.
b. Select Test Print.
c. Select Finishing Test.
d. Select Saddle Stitch.
e. Select the Paper Source in which you've set the
paper.
4. The printer starts printing and a booklet is delivered
to the booklet tray.
5. Check the folding position of the booklet.
FOLD/STAPLE ACCURACY
Between staple line and fold line
Between staple line and center line +/- 1.3mm (max)
Between fold line and center line
If the folding position is incorrect, begin the
adjustment procedure on
If the folding position is correct, begin the
Staple Adjust procedure on
