A technology where speech is converted to a digital signal and transmitted
through Internet Protocol packets over the Internet or an intranet.
An Avaya communication server feature that displays contact center activity
and information on the display of a telephone set. For Avaya IP Agent, this
information can be viewed in the status bar of the main window and the VuStats
Monitor window.
A Windows-based server that allows client terminals, PCs, and other devices to
use an environment and applications supplied by the server. Depending on the
type of client, processing and storage can take place on the server or the client.
A short dial tone that indicates that an ACD call is being connected to the agent.
