f. View the display. It should now show a Status of Connected for that path to the target.
NOTE:
If the status is not Connected, do the following to eliminate one of the following common mistakes:
• Make the second connection.
• Verify that the Source IP address and the Target Portal are correct.
4. In multipathing environments only, repeat step 3 for the IP address and portal associated with
the secondary controller. (Example: 100.30.1.20:3260)
NOTE:
It is a common mistake to not make the second connection or to not ensure that the Source IP
address and the Target Portal are correct.
5. Verify the connection status to the target.
