Type
Description
The cache memory has

experienced a hardware failure.
The cache memory hardware
has temporarily been disabled,
typically because the battery is not

charged or a capacity expansion
operation is occurring. The cache
automatically enabled once the
condition has been corrected.
Old data that no longer belongs
to any current configured volumes
was found in the cache memory

Action
If the failure has occurred on the
standby array controller, remove
the standby array controller,
replace the cache modules, wait
10 seconds, and then reinsert the
array controller, ensuring that it is
fully seated in the chassis.
If the failure has occurred on the
active array controller, wait until
downtime is available. Power
off the MSA, remove the array
controller, replace the cache
modules, and reinsert the array
controller, ensuring it is fully seated
in the chassis.
