Type
Description
An unsupported hard drive is
Informational
located in the indicated bay of the
storage enclosure.
The indicated hard drive contains
unrecognized configuration
Error
information from another system
and therefore will not be used.
The configured volume has
returned to its normal operating
Informational
state. This typically occurs after a
rebuild operation has completed.
The configured volume has been
failed because too many SCSI
hard drives that it is composed of
have failed, exceeding the fault
Error
tolerance level. The data on the
configured volume is no longer
available. There is a risk of data
loss.
The array controller has failed one
or more SCSI hard drives that the
configured volume is composed
Informational
of. No data loss has occurred
because fault tolerance is allowing
the data to be recovered.
The configured volume is rebuilding
Informational
data on a SCSI drive that replaced
a previously failed drive.
The configured volume has been
disabled because too many of
Error
the SCSI hard drives that it is
composed of are missing.
The configured volume is currently
Informational
performing a volume expansion
operation.
The configured volume is waiting
to start rebuilding data on a SCSI
drive that replaces a previously
failed drive. The rebuild may not
Informational
have started yet because the array
controller is already performing
a rebuild on another configured
volume.
The configured volume is waiting
to start a volume expansion
operation. The expansion may
have not started yet because
Informational
another configured volume is
undergoing expansion or a rebuild
is occurring on the configured
volume.
Action
