CAUTION:
Remove blanking panels only for the options being installed. For proper airflow and cooling, a blanking
panel or component must be installed in the MSA chassis.
Some of the available MSA1510i option kits include:
• Additional SCSI I/O modules
• Additional MSA1510i controller
• Additional 2-Port Ethernet iSCSI module

Multipath configurations—Multipath configurations must include an additional controller and 2-Port
Ethernet iSCSI module.
NOTE:
When installing additional SCSI I/O modules, HP recommends populating the SCSI I/O module bays
from right to left, so that the attached storage enclosures are added in preassigned box-number order.
