Action
Check all fans and ensure they are
operating. Any failed fans should
be replaced. Ensure that there is a
module or blanking panel (cover
plate) in all MSA chassis bays and
slots. Empty bays affect the airflow
and cooling ability of the MSA.
The MSA should be powered off as
soon as possible and immediately
after that, the enclosure should be
powered off, to avoid hardware
failure.
Check all MSA fans and ensure
they are operating. Any failed
fan should be replaced. Ensure
that there is a module or blanking
panel (cover plate) in all MSA
chassis bays and slots. Empty
bays affect the airflow and cooling
ability of the MSA.
Check all power supplies to ensure
they are operating. Replace any
failed power supplies.
Make sure the storage box is
powered on. Ensure all cables are
connected securely. Power off the
MSA and the storage enclosure.
Then reapply power to the storage
box and then the MSA.
If the issue persists, contact HP
support.
