Type Description
The array controller in the MSA
has completed the firmware flash
process. It is now safe to restart
the MSA and begin using the
Informational
new firmware. In dual-controller
configurations, the new firmware
is cloned onto the other controller
during the startup routine.
The array controller in the MSA has
Error
failed the firmware flash process.
The EMU has started the firmware
flash process. Do not turn off the
Informational power to the system until it has
completed. This could take five
minutes.
The EMU has completed the
Informational firmware flash process. It is now
safe to turn off power to the system.
The EMU has failed the firmware
Error
flash process.
A firmware flash operation has
Informational started on an attached storage
enclosure.
A firmware flash operation has
Informational completed on an attached storage
enclosure.
A firmware flash operation has
Error
failed on an attached storage
enclosure.
Indicates that the array controller
has detected out-of-date firmware
on the iSCSI daughter board and
Informational is updating the firmware. Do not
turn off power to the MSA until it
has completed. This could take
several minutes.
Indicates that the array controller
has completed updating the
Informational firmware on the iSCSI daughter
board. Restart the MSA to activate
the new firmware.
Indicates that the array controller
Error was unable to update the firmware
on the iSCSI daughter board.
Indicates that the array controller
has detected out-of-date firmware
on a fan module in the indicated
Informational storage enclosure and is updating
the firmware. Do not turn off power
to the MSA until it has completed.
This could take several minutes.
