Paper Sensor (Paper Feeding Sensor PT1) Removal

1. Remove the transfer unit. See
page 4-79, for more information.
2. Remove the set screws ST3X2 (2) from the paper guide (L).
3. Remove the paper guide (L).
4. Remove the set screws ST3X6 (2) from the paper guide (UL)
assembly.
5. Unlock the paper feeding sensor from the rear side of the hole
through which the paper guide (UL) has been removed.
6. Disconnect all connectors to the paper feeding sensor.
7. Remove the paper feeding sensor from the feeder stay.
WARNING: Do not remove the separator pad mounting bracket as
it is positioned at the factory and cannot be adjusted.
