7. For each phone, select a user name and directory number from the directory displayed
on the handshake phone.
8. After you install all the phones, return to the handshake phone (first installed phone),
navigate to Exit and select Submit.
9. When asked "Are you sure you want to exit the installation?" click Yes. When the
phones have fully booted, you'll see the blue phone idle screen.
Deleting a User from the Directory
1. Click User Directory in the Action Index window or on the Site tab.
2. In Edit mode, click Delete User next to the user you want to delete.
3. Click Commit
.
If the user was assigned to a phone, the system automatically reboots the phone. Note that
this procedure deletes the user from the Auto Attendant directory only; the user's settings are
still saved in the database. To delete a user from the system see "Deleting a User from the
Database" section on page 93.
Changing a User's Directory Number
1. Click User Directory in the Action Index window or on the Site tab.
2. In Edit mode, find the user in the directory and type a new extension number in the
range of 210 to 290.
3. Click Commit. The phone reboots and comes back up with the new extension number.
