Service Address
• Street address (city, state and postal code) for the business
Service Contact (optional)
• First name, last name and e-mail address of the Service Contact for the business.
Security Information (optional)
• Leave this field blank to have the system generate a 6-digit numeric password for the
Linksys One installation handshake, or
• Enter a 6-digit number for the password you want to use during the installation
handshake, for example, 123456, then retype the new password for verification.
6. Click Next to continue to the Services & Numbers page.
7. Under Services Requested, choose CPE template options for WAN upload speed,
connection type, calling plan, firmware source, and dial plan options:
• Broadband Upload—specifies the upload speed of the WAN connection at the
customer's site. Available options range from 128 Kbps to 10 Mbps.
Select the speed that most closely matches the upload speed for the customer's site.
• Broadband Type—specifies the broadband access type. Accept the default selection,
which is Ethernet DHCP and IPSEC.
• Calling Plan—choose Virtually Unlimited + Intl.
• Firmware Source (optional)—Select a firmware release group for this customer from
the drop-down menu. This setting determines which version of product firmware will
be downloaded to the customer's CPE during the installation handshake.
You can accept the default setting, which is usually the default firmware release
group for this brand (recommended for most customers) or override the default
brand setting by selecting a different firmware release group.
When the firmware release associated with the selected group is updated on the
Service Node, the new version will be downloaded to the customer's CPE during the
next Services Router maintenance window.
