To assign lines to a device, enable the radio button or checkbox for each pool of lines you
want to assign to the device.
IMPORTANT: The phone system does not allow
you to apply a shared line appearance on both
FXS ports of the VGA2200 Voice Gateway. Each
FXS port can be assigned only to one line. For
example, a valid configuration would be line 1
on phone 1, phone 2, phone 3, VGA2200-A-
FXS-1, VGA2200-B-FXS-1, VGA2000-A-FXS-1.
Assigning a Private Line to a Device
1. In Edit mode, locate the line in the Private pool that contains the line you want to add to
a device.
2. Click the radio button next to the device to which the private line will be assigned. You
can only select one device.
3. Click Commit.
Assigning Line Pools to a Device
1. In Edit mode, locate the pool that contains the lines you want to add to devices on the
system.
2. Click the button next to each device that you want to assign to the pool.
3. Click Commit.
You can select multiple devices. All line appearances in the pool will appear on the selected
devices.
Defining Line Forward All Settings
The Line Forward All setting in the Line Assignments window specifies how you want the
phone system to handle incoming calls on external lines for pools. Here's a few caveats:
• Line Forward All settings for private lines are set by the user and are not
configurable.

Auto Attendant. All incoming calls on this line are
