Follow this sequence of events to connect the cables:

Use the DC connector cables to connect the devices to DC power.
Use the AC power cable to connect the unit to a standard power source .
— The power automatically comes up with the RPS-only unit.
— With the UPS module, turn the power on to the unit by pressing the On
button for a minimum of 3 seconds.
Connect one DC connector to the DC receptacle on the power supply module
(Figure 20).
Secure the cable with the thumbscrews attached to the DC connector.
Tighten the thumbscrews by hand only. Do not use tools to tighten them.
Attach the other DC connector to the DC receptacle of another device.
Secure the cable with the thumbscrews attached to the DC connector.
Tighten the thumbscrews by hand only. Do not use tools to tighten them.
