Preface
Congratulations on your purchase of a BayStack
( BayStack 10 PSU ). This equipment is intended for use with many Nortel
Networks
Supply (RPS) section, which contains slots for up to four power supply modules.
Other sections in the unit contain the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and its
associated battery pack module. You can purchase the RPS or UPS components
of these sections separately, and install them into the BayStack 10 PSU chassis as
needed. The RPS controller module provides SNMP management to the BayStack
10 PSU if you are not using the UPS components.
In this document, this product is referred to as the BayStack 10 PSU, except when
information is specific to the RPS or UPS.
Before you begin
This guide provides information about using the features and capabilities of the
BayStack 10 Power Supply Unit.
This guide is intended for network administrators with working knowledge of
networking technology and power supply terms and operations.
