Chapter 1 Introduction
The international version of the UPS module provides voltage specifically for
international devices and standard current. You do not need to change any settings
if you have purchased the international version and are using it outside of North
America or Japan.

Battery pack module

The battery pack module for the UPS supplies backup AC power to attached
devices through an internal DC-to-AC voltage inverter. The battery provides
power when the main AC power source is removed. A battery charger in the UPS
module recharges a depleted battery when AC power is restored. LEDs on the
front of the BayStack 10 PSU indicate the level of charge remaining in the battery
and the amount of load placed on the battery by connected devices. The battery
pack module is hot-swappable.
The battery pack uses HR1234WF2(CSB) or HR9-12(BB).

Typical application

You can supply redundant DC power to four devices with the power supply
modules. The UPS provides continuous AC power to those same four devices.
