To install the chassis on a flat surface:
Optional rubber feet are provided. When installed properly, they prevent the unit
from slipping.

Installing the power supply modules

To prevent damage during shipping, the power supply modules are not installed
into the BayStack 10 PSU. Install these modules before attempting to power on
the chassis and connected devices. You can install up to four modules into any of
the four slots in the rear of the chassis (as described in

Repeat the installation instructions as needed. The power supply modules are
hot-swappable.
Place the unit on a sturdy, level surface.
Caution: For proper ventilation, be sure that the chassis has at least
2 inches (5.1 cm) of space on each side. Restricted airflow causes
overheating of the internal components. Be sure to provide adequate
ventilation space on the sides of the chassis.
Remove the paper backing from each rubber foot.
Place one foot on each corner on the bottom of the unit.
