LEDs
LEDs on the front panel provide information about the operation of the
BayStack 10 PSU. LEDs specific to the RPS o r UPS do not function unless the
appropriate component is installed in the chassis and power to the unit has been
turned on. Error codes displayed on the front panel indicate problems; refer to
"Error codes" on page 20

displays a battery pack module and UPS module configuration. The
battery pack module fits behind the left side of the front panel. Install the UPS
into the right front opening. The UPS module has LED indicators for chassis,
RPS, and UPS components.
UPS battery pack module
The three buttons on the right side of the UPS module enable you to turn the
BayStack 10 PSU off and on, and to turn off the alarm. Refer to
buttons" on page 22
for more information. When you are using the UPS
module, the unit turns on automatically in certain situations. Refer to
"Automatically turning on the power" on page 54
for details.
