The maintenance mode described in this section is available for the APR-65 software version 2.00 and
later. (Refer to Section 3-2-1.)
For other versions, contact your local Sony Sales Office/Service Center.
This unit provides the diagnosis menu for the maintenance and the self-test.
The diagnosis menu consists of the following menus, which are displayed in detail on the control panel
LCD.
When performing the maintenance and the self-test for SRW-1, connect the properly adjusted SRPC-1 to
SRW-1. When performing the maintenance and the self-test for SRPC-1, connect the properly adjusted
SRW-1 to SRPC-1.
VTR stands for SRW-1, and VA stands for SRPC-1 respectively on the menu.
The table below lists the menu items for both SRW-1 and SRPC-1, among which the shaded items are
specific to SRPC-1.
Refer to the Maintenance Manual Volume 1 for SRPC-1 for its specific menu items.

Displays versions of installed software and onboard FPGAs
of SRW-1 and SRPC-1.

(VTR E) message list.

Resets SRW-1 tape travelling hours for a specified time
period.
Resets number of SRW-1 tape threading times for a
specified time period.
