3-2-7. SERVO menu

The SERVO menu serves to auto-adjust in the SRW-1
servo system.

. Since auto-adjustment and check of SERVO system are
performed with a cassette tape ejected except for DRUM
PG auto-adjustment, press the [EJECT] button to eject
the cassette tape.
Any remaining cassette tape is ejected automatically.
. When "NVRAM INIT" is selected in the SV Adjustment
screen displayed by the SERVO menu, all the saved
Servo Adjustment data is initialized (cleared). Be careful
not to select it by mistake.
If selected by mistake, adjust Capstan FG and S-Reel FG
first, and then adjust Drum PG.

To auto-adjust CAPSTAN FG and S-REEL FG

Adjust CAPSTAN FG and S-REEL FG in the same way.
The screen below shows an example of adjusting CAP-
STAN FG.
1. Select "SERVO" in the Diagnosis menu to open the
Servo Diag window.
2. Confirm that "SV ADJUST" is selected in the Servo
Diag window, and press the [ENTER] dial.
The SV Adjustment screen appears.
