7-5. Audio Alignment

7-5-1. AD Level Adjustment

Be sure to perform this adjustment after replacing the
APR-65 board and AXM-26 board.
Tools
. Audio analyzer: Audio Precision System One (SYS-
22A), System Two (SYS-2022A) or
equivalent
Preparation
1. Remove the inside panel assembly.
2. Set S700-3 on the APR-65 board to ON. (With this
setting, the audio level meter on the control panel
shows 0.1 dB/SEG.)
3. Set the input signal on the INPUT SEL menu of the
AUDIO Setup menu as follows. (Refer to the Opera-
tion Manual.)
TRACK1: ANA1 (Analog CH1)
TRACK2: ANA2 (Analog CH2)
4. Input 1 kHz, +4 dBu from the audio analyzer to the
AUDIO IN CH1/CH2 connectors on the SRW-1.
AD level adjustment
1. Power on SRW-1 and SRPC-1.
2. Adjust the CH1 and CH2 levels of the audio level
meter on the control panel to meet the specifications
below.
Channel 1: _20.00 dB
Specifications:
Channel 2: _20.00 dB
Adjustment point: Channel 1: 1RV500/APR-65
Channel 2: 1RV501/APR-65
Procedure after adjustment
1. Re-set the INPUT SEL menu on the AUDIO Setup
menu to user settings after adjustment.
2. Re-set S700-3 to OFF on the APR-65 board.
3. Reinstall the inside panel assembly.
