Do not look into, or otherwise expose your eyes to, the
laser radiation possibly emitting from optical fibers. Doing
this could cause serious eye damage.
Disconnect the optical patch cord or pigtail from the receive connector as
shown in Figure 7-12 and immediately place a cap on the pigtail connector.
