Action
Remove the ABM shelf cover as shown in Chapter 3, "Removing covers and
grilles."
Remove the IRTU from the shelf.
Wait at least 10 seconds before installing the replacement card. Insert a
replacement IRTU into the shelf.
If the automatic-in-service feature is set to on, and the circuit pack state
automatically changes to in-service (IS), skip to step 9.
From the IRTU equipment screen, change the state of the circuit pack to
in-service:
chgstate is↵
The IRTU returns to service.
Replace the shelf cover.
