Replacing modules in a common-equipment shelf 7-25
Action
Wait at least 10 seconds before installing the replacement card. Insert a
replacement TIC in the shelf and gently push the replacement card in until the
ejector latches come in contact with the shelf. Then push the latches in
toward the circuit pack to engage the unit with the backplane connector.
If the automatic-in-service feature is set to on, and the circuit pack state
automatically changes to in-service (IS), skip to step 10.
From the TIC equipment screen, change the state of the circuit pack to
in-service:

Replace the shelf cover.
