Specifying Zones
This section explains how to specify zones, which you can use to help you navigate.
By setting up zones, you can use the zone alarm to alert you when you are entering

In POS mode, you can set, display, and release zones.
To enter POS mode, press the POS key.
To turn off the zone alarm, set the zone alarm to Off in the Alarm Setting menu (see
page 75).
Note:
If you set too many zones, the response of
the display may be degraded.

To set a zone:

Press the F4 key (ZONE).

Choose SET from the Zone menu.
Specify the outline points of the zone

repeatedly until the zone is defined.
Press the ENTER key to make the selection
of each point.
To continue specifying the points, press the
ENTER key.
To specify the previous point, press the
RECALL key.
When you have finished making the selection of all points, press the F3
key (END) to set the zone.
To cancel setting a zone, press the Ft key (QUIT).
Notes:
* To specify a point. refer to "Specifying
Positions" on page 27.
* You must specify a minimum of three
points to make a zone.
You can use a
maximum of 20 points to make a zone and
a maximum of 200 points for all zones.
