This section explains how to change the settings of the unit's internal clock.
You can change the following settings:
Time Difference: Adjust the time difference between your local time and UTC time.
To determine the time difference of major cities in the world, see "Time Difference
Chart" on page 83. Default setting is "+ 00:00."
DST (Daylight Saving Time): Select daylight saving time, which advances time
one hour. Default setting is "Off."
Time Format: Select time format as 12-hour or 24-hour. Default setting is "24H."
~ Date Format: Select date format as yymmdd (year/month/date), mmddyy (month/
date/year), or ddmmyy (date/month/year). Default setting is "mmddyy."
To change a time setting:

Press the MENU key to enter MENU mode.

Choose TIME SETTING.

Select the option of the setting using the * | key.
Change the setting using the | / key.
To set the time difference, use the — -» key.
To continue changing the settings repeat steps 3 and 4.
When you have finished changing the settings, press the F2 key (END).
The unit backs up the previous settings when you change them. To change the
setting to the previous setting, press the F3 key (CANCEL).
To cancel the time setting, press the F1 key (QUIT).
