This section explains how to change the settings of the unit's navigation alarms.
You can change the following settings to customize three types of alarms you can
use during navigation:
Destination Alarm: Set the alarm when approaching or arrived at your destination.
Distances (radius of zone) to determine approach or arrival can be set. Default
settings are: the alarm is "Off." Arrival Zone is "0.5 nautical mile," and Approach
Zone is "1.5 nautical mile."

XTE (Cross Track Error) Alarm: Set the course deviation alarm during navigation.
Distances to determine acceptable limit of the course deviation can be set in two
stages. Default settings are: the alarm is "Off." Distance 1 is "0.5 nautical mile," and
Distance 2 is "1 nautical mile."

Zone Alarm: Set the alarm when entering the specified zone. To specify zone, refer
to "Specifying Zones" on page 53. Default setting is "Off."
