Step 5C: Replace the antenna cable
To replace the antenna cable with the antenna extension cable (supplied):
Loosen the display/keyboard-side connector using the utility key
(supplied), then remove the cable.

Loosen the antenna-side connector using the utility key, then remove
the cable.
Connect the antenna extension cable to the antenna-side connector,
then tighten the screw using the utility key.

Connect the other end of the antenna extension cable to the display/
keyboard-side connector, then tighten the screw using the utility key.
Notes:
* Make sure the antenna cable is firmly
connected to the display/keyboard and to
the antenna. Make sure the cable is
properly seated in the grommet to
preserve the water-resistance of the unit.
If you turn on the unit and the antenna is
disconnected, the message "Antenna
disconnected" is displayed. When
displaying your current position or
navigating. check connection of the
antenna cable, then press the GPS key to
turn on the antenna.
