Creating Navigation Points
This section explains how to create and edit navigation points.
You can save position information for navigation using several methods: specifying
the position on the map, inputting the latitude and longitude data, or by just storing
your current position. This position information is known as a "navigation point" or,
more simply, a "point."
In POINT mode, you can create, modify, delete, and search for points.
To enter POINT mode. press the POINT key.
Note:
Before selecting the function in POINT
mode, you can display the point memo by
selecting the point name and pressing the
ENTER key in the point list.
When you create a new point, you can assign names and icons to each point so you
can easily indentify that point when navigating.
To create a new point:

Press the F1 key (NEW).

Specify the position.

Enter the point name.
Select an icon for the point.
To display the next page of the point icon
menu, press the F4 key (MORE).

To cancel creating a new point, press the F1 key (QUIT).
