Navigating to Your Destination
If you deviate from your course
The unit notifies you with an alarm and the course deviation indicator. The GPS
key's light flashes green and red if you deviate from your course. This indicator
gives you information about the direction you are travelling in (track) versus the
direction to your destination (course) so that you can check if you are heading in the
right direction. This information is called "cross track error."
