Searching for Points | | |
The following search methods are available to search for points. You can assign Note:
multiple methods. You can only set one item for each search
method.
Memory: Selects the memory device in which a point to be searched for is stored.
Type: Searches for a point by the point type. A table of the available point types is
provided on page 86.
Icon: Searches for a point by the point icon.
Text: Searches for a point by the point name that begins with the assigned text.
Criteria: Releases all the search criteria that are currently assigned.
To search far a point:
1 Press the F4 key (SEARCHP).
2 Select the search method.
3 Select the search item.
When you have finished selecting the search methods and items. press the
RECALL key. 7 :
To cancel searching for a point. press the F1 key (QUIT).
To release the current search criteria:
1 Preses the F4 key (SEARCHP).
2 Choose DELETE CRITERIA from the Search menu.
3 Choose YES to release the criteria.
